INGREDIENTS (6 Fritas)
* 1lb of ground beef
* 6 small hamburger rolls
* 2 teaspoons of salt
* 1 cup each of bread crumbs and shoestring potatoes
* 1 egg
* 1/2 teaspoons paprika
* 1/4 cup each of milk and finely chopped onions
* 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper
PREPARATION
The hamburger is a popular quick meal for the kids the world over. To make a Cuban style hamburger – the frita – you need to soak some breadcrumbs in milk. Then you set that aside while you beat some eggs, which you mix with your ground beef. Chop some onions and add some ground pepper, salt and paprika to the choppes onions. Mix all the contents together in the soaked breadcrumbs and make six meatballs. If you have time, refrigerate the meatballs for a couple of hours before putting them in the frying pan. Flatten and fry. Set on a bun and add lettuce, potatoes, etc. Serve with sauces and the kids are sure to be happy!
